No. Your SplashCard opens in any modern phone browser. The recipient doesn't need a SplashCard account or an app.
Can someone save my contact?
Yes. Your card generates a standard .vcf contact file that can be opened and saved to contacts on compatible phones.
What happens if I change my phone number?
Your hosted card can be updated without changing your personal SplashCard URL or QR code. Anyone visiting the link sees your current information.
Why would I pay for Pro?
Free handles the core digital-card experience. Pro adds the tools that turn a card into a two-way connection: lead capture and appointment booking.
What is the Founder Pro Launch Rate?
When the Launch offer is available, new customers can begin Pro at $7.50 per month or $75 per year. That rate remains in place while the subscription stays active. The offer may be paused for future signups, but it does not change the rate already assigned to active Launch customers.
Can I earn SplashCard Pro free for life?
Yes. Share your personal referral link and earn Founder Pro for life when five referrals qualify. An Annual Pro referral qualifies after its annual payment is confirmed. A Monthly Pro referral qualifies after 12 successful monthly payments while active. Free, incomplete, cancelled, refunded, duplicate, self-referred, and fraudulent accounts do not qualify. We verify qualifying referrals before making any billing change.
Why does SplashCard use GoCardless for Pro payments?
Pro is a recurring subscription, so GoCardless securely manages ACH bank authorization and scheduled payments. You authorize payment once through GoCardless’s secure checkout; SplashCard never sees or stores your bank-account details. ACH authorization can take a little longer than entering a card, and it is not an instant credit-card charge.
